Traditional English composition of bar mitzvah

I am glad to receive your email. Now I want to tell you something that happened in our school yesterday. In the afternoon, we held a growth commemorative meeting for the upcoming18th birthday. At first, we vowed that as adults, we should have a sense of responsibility for our society from now on. Then we express our gratitude to our parents who brought us up through hardships and our teachers who have been patiently educating us. Our teachers also gave us cards expressing their good wishes to us. Finally, we gave a wonderful performance, singing and dancing. We learned a lot from this activity. I think this is very important to us. I will remember this day in my life.
