1, welding method

First, determine whether the installed lamp strip uses high voltage or low voltage, then observe that there are two points on every three lamp beads on the lamp strip, and just weld the wires to the points.

2. Terminal wiring method

First, all the lamp beads are connected in series with many resistors. This is a light bar with 12V DC power supply. Connect the two output wires of 12V DC power supply (regulated or unregulated) directly to the positive and negative terminals of the light strip, and then plug the power plug into the household AC power socket. You can also directly drive this light bar with 12V battery pack.

3. Drive connection method

First of all, all the light bars with beads in series need to be equipped with capacitor ballast constant current drivers, and there are better switch-type constant current drivers, which are suitable for driving low-voltage light bars. Insert the two pins of the driver plug into the cores of the two leads of the light bar according to the correct polarity, and then insert the driver power plug into the household 220-volt AC power socket.

Matters needing attention in connection of light strip

1. When installing the light strip, you need to use the switching power supply for power supply. Generally, provide us with a welded power plug and plug it into the power supply of the light strip. If you don't want each light strip to be controlled by one power supply, you can buy a switching power supply with higher power as the total power supply and then connect it in series.

2. In order to highlight the color effect of the light band, a controller is needed. When wiring, the control distance of each controller is different, depending on the specific situation.

3. Generally speaking, the longest connection distance of light strip is 20m. If this connection distance is exceeded, the light strip will easily generate heat, which will affect the service life of the light strip in the use process. Therefore, it must be installed according to the specified requirements.
