Brief introduction of Guo Qingming

Qingming fruit is a Han snack, which is made of glutinous rice and japonica rice. Mainly made of various dishes, it is a unique Tomb-Sweeping Day sacrifice in Zhangzhou and other places. It is especially popular in Zhaoan area of Zhangzhou, Tomb-Sweeping Day and the third day of the third lunar month, commonly known as the old Qingming Tomb Sweeping. According to taste, it can be divided into sweet and salty, and according to stuffing, it can be divided into mung bean stuffing, peanut stuffing, peanut sweet potato stuffing, glutinous rice stuffing, vegetable fat sausage stuffing and so on, which are deeply loved by women and children. The "red ball" made in other important festivals in Zhaoan area of Zhangzhou, Tomb-Sweeping Day, is mainly made by adding wormwood into the skin. Its production process is very complicated, and the stuffing treatment is very particular. Generally, it smells fragrant after boiling water, and it can be cooked after burning incense. It will take about 60 minutes.
