Where did etiquette originate?

There are five different opinions about the origin of etiquette: first, etiquette is born in the gods; Second, ceremony is the unity of heaven and earth; Third, courtesy comes from human nature; Fourth, courtesy is the product of the contradiction between human nature and environment; Fifth, courtesy comes from reason and comes from vulgarity.

Theoretically speaking, ceremony is to maintain "human order" and avoid contradictions and conflicts. A long time ago, human beings lived in groups, but in group life, the relationship between people must be handled well, so that men and women are different, and young and old are different. As a result, over time, a series of "human relations order" was formed, and the initial ceremony was thus produced.

Judging from the specific ceremony, the ceremony originated from the sacrificial activities of primitive religion. However, with the deepening understanding of the relationship between nature and various societies, the primitive sacrificial activities are far from satisfying the increasingly complex realistic relationship. As a result, people integrate a series of behaviors in sacrificial activities into all kinds of interpersonal communication, from which various manners are derived.
