Do these designs look redundant? You weigh in...

We buy a car, many times in the same level, the same price in the selection of relatively meet their own requirements of that one, even if it is the same model, its consumers may not like all of it, Xiaobian from the recent feedback, summed up some of the BMW design that we feel redundant, you to evaluate it!

M240i's lower surround

I wonder what the market is now for the M240i, any friends who have recently ordered a car? This is the cheapest six-cylinder BMW in the country, and the standard aerodynamic components and M rear spoiler on the exterior should be given a favorable review, but when I looked closely at the details, I found that there is an "M" logo next to the radar on the lower front fascia surround. M logo on the side fenders is nothing to be ashamed of, the old tradition, is it not a little redundant to have one here? Is it to make up for the regret of not having the M logo on the center net?

3 Series center grille design

After the mid-cycle revision of the BMW 3 Series, the center grille of the 320i/Li models is a double-spoke vertical bar, which is the more familiar style, while the 325 and 330 have become a star screen grille (which is the same model as that found on the overseas M340i), and the Obsidian Edition's bezel has also become a Smoked. Some owners don't seem to be a fan of the honeycomb design, though, preferring the vertical bar grille.

Blue stripe for pure electric models

In the design language of pure electric iX3, i3 and other models, BMW, in order to highlight the identity of the new energy vehicle, added blue elements in the double kidney grille, side skirts, the rear enclosure, as well as the interior of the gear knob, the start button, etc., but some friends feel that these designs are not very good-looking, and redundant. If you don't like it, you can choose not to select the "BMW i Blue exterior design" (which costs no money anyway), but the gear knob and start button can't be changed.

Domestic X5 seat cushion

There is a cushion behind the front seats of the domestic X5, also with a diamond-shaped grid design, which is at first thought to be a pocket that can be opened, or a place to put your feet? It actually doesn't open, which is a bit... Awkward.

Domestic X5 center control

The same domestic X5, the left side of the center control gear handle in front of the wireless charging, the right side of the single cup holder, the top of the cup holder filled with a piece of the X5 logo, so that you can increase recognition, but in the eyes of some friends, this loss of a cup holder not to mention that the BMW's wireless charging is always unstable, also heat, this is not worth the loss. I wonder how the domestic X5's wireless charging performs? Any owners out there with current experience?

Get in Pedal

The get in pedal design varies from person to person, mainly on the flagship X7, the pedal is a good transition for the elderly and children to get in and out of the car, but for the average adult is just rubbing the dirty pants leg design. I've also seen pedals on the BMW X5, guys do you find them useful?

Pure electric model rear surround

This is my own opinion, now iX3, i4 and other pure electric BMW models rear surround still have the outline of the exhaust, next to the different colors with the trim can be more prominent, but the internal is the design of the diffuser, I feel that since it is a pure electric car without an engine and no exhaust, there is no need to be so "attentive". I feel that since it is a purely electric car with no engine and no exhaust, there is no need for such a "thoughtful" design. Many new models with internal combustion engines hide the exhaust, and purely electric BMWs could have been given some more exaggerated and aerodynamic surrounds.

Which design do you think is more awkward/redundant?
