What is the relationship between Zhuang architecture and local environment?
Zhuang area belongs to tropical and subtropical climate, which is hot, rainy and humid. At the same time, the Zhuang area is mountainous. "Gan Lan" residence is ventilated and dry, which can save land. Therefore, most Zhuang people's houses in mountainous areas are "dry" houses.
However, Zhuang people living in the valley plain and near towns generally have two architectural styles: semi-dry column and full-land residence. Houses are mostly brick-wood structures, with white plaster on the exterior walls and decorative patterns on the eaves.
It can be seen that the folk houses of Zhuang nationality are not fixed, but closely related to the climate and geographical environment. Since ancient times, it is also the tradition of the Zhuang people to respect nature and live in harmony with nature.
