Huaqiao University Men's Basketball Team Team Team Honor

Basketball is a traditional sport of Huaqiao University. At the beginning of the school, the men's basketball team, which was dominated by overseas students, enjoyed a high reputation in Fujian Province and Southeast Asia. Since the resumption of classes at 1978, Huada has paid more attention to the construction of high-level men's basketball teams, and has participated in basketball competitions of the National University Games on behalf of Fujian college students for many times.

In 2007, in the 5th Asian College Basketball Championship, Huada Men's Basketball Team won the third place for the first time.

In July 2008, the 6th Asian College Basketball Championship was held in the Philippines, and the Huada Men's Basketball Team won the championship, which greatly encouraged the local Chinese and overseas Chinese.
