Wei County is in Wei Temple.

Wei county is an ancient county with a long history and outstanding people. It was the capital of Wei during the Warring States Period. Wei Temple was built for Wei Wenhou, one of the Seven Heroes in the Warring States Period. Wei Wenhou, the founder of Wei State, set up a platform of courtesy and morality in Wei County to recruit wise men, which was the first time that the Chinese nation was thirsty for wise men and pushed Confucianism to a dominant position. In order to further carry forward the ideology and culture of respecting sages, learning from scholars and advocating Confucian governance, and show the humanistic spirit of wei county in the new era of "diligence and faithfulness, courage and integrity, gratitude and tolerance, courtesy and generosity, and openness and enterprising", the new county party committee and government have made great efforts to build a "pear town water city", strive to build a regional central city in southeastern Hebei, and follow the traditional concept of "harmony between man and nature" in China to build a landscape Wei Temple, a natural Wei Temple and an enterprising Wei Temple.
