Zhang Yunlei (real name: Zhang Lei) was born in Tianjin, China, on January 11, 1992, and was one of the first group of disciples to be accepted by Guo Degang, and is now one of the four sons of the Deyun Society. Born in Tianjin on January 11, 1992, Zhang Yunlei (real name Zhang Lei) was born in Tianjin under the tutelage of Guo Degang, one of the earliest group of disciples to have been admitted by Guo Degang, and the second in the ranking among the disciples of the "Deyunsha", and one of the four sons of the Deyunsha.

Born in 1992 in Hongqiao District, Tianjin, Zhang Yunlei met Guo Degang in Tianjin at the age of seven, and went to Beijing at the age of nine to formally study opera, and at the age of eleven, he took Guo as his teacher, learning the traditional singing of Taiping lyrics, Lotus Flower Pagoda, and Opera Commentary.
