Comparative analysis of the eating habits of Britain, Germany and France
Germany: three meals a day. Breakfast is usually at seven o'clock, lunch one o'clock, dinner seven o'clock. Some places have afternoon coffee and cake between lunch and dinner. Unlike Chinese eating habits, the most elaborate and sumptuous German is not lunch and dinner, but breakfast. Moreover, Germans love meat, and he will surely rave about the famous Peking Duck. France: In France, there are three meals in a day. The first is breakfast, which is served between 7:00 and 9:00, and consists of a hot drink (coffee, tea or hot chocolate), croissant and/or bread, cream, and jam. Then comes lunch, between noon and 14:00: this is the real main meal, consisting of an appetizer, a main course and/or dessert at the end of the meal. Lunch often ends with a cup of coffee. Finally, there is dinner, which is served around 20:00 pm. The afternoon snack (around 16:00) is traditionally reserved for children, while some adults change it to afternoon tea and snacks.
