Post-wucun Folk Culture Festival

Post-wucun has a profound cultural background and a profound mass cultural foundation. In several art festivals before 2009, the traditional folk cultural activities in this village have been completely excavated and restored. In 2009, the 9th Folk Culture and Art Festival opened in the Double Ninth Festival. The four-day activities were rich in content, bright spots and numerous. In this year's art festival, exquisite preservation programs such as eighteen butterflies, big-faced girls, eighteen arhats, long flags, palace lanterns and eighteen mussels in their village were displayed. In addition, there are 12 mass cultural performance teams from all over the city, including Tangxian Town Fitness Dance Team, Sifang Group Old Association Performance Team, Hardware Square Dance Team, Yaotang and Hengkeng Luohan Team, Li Xi Old Mother Performance Team, etc. Their participation not only enriches the activities of the festival, but also shows that the festival is more open and attracts everyone's participation.

The most striking thing is the invitation program "Fenghua Bulong", in which the performance team danced with one red and one blue dragon, dazzling the audience. The unique formation, dance and modeling made Yongkang people appreciate the wonderful as a national intangible cultural heritage project at home.

Another highlight of the festival is the painting and calligraphy exhibition in Wu Xiaoqing. As a descendant of Wu and a cultural cadre of the town, she has been working hard for more than 20 years, and her paintings and calligraphy have gradually become better and better, forming a unique style. The exhibition attracted many painting and calligraphy lovers and added artistic atmosphere to the festival.

During the festival, the Wu Ancestral Hall Reconstruction Celebration, the Wu Ancestral Hall Sacrifice Ceremony and the traditional folk congratulations performance were also held, and Zhejiang Wu Troupe was invited to entertain. Three days and four nights of drama make the festival more lively and festive.
