What is the earliest existing wooden structure in China?
The oldest existing wooden structure in China, nanzenji Daxiong Hall. Located 22km southwest of Wutai County, Li Jiazhuang. It was built in the third year of Tang Jianzhong (782). After many repairs in Song, Ming and Qing dynasties, it was restored in 1973, and the Tang-style temple building was restored with deep eaves.
