Wushu has nine stages, namely eagle, tiger and dragon, representing three stages: primary, intermediate and advanced. Copper, silver and gold are also used to represent specific parts with animal totems. The technical level of Wushu athletes can be divided into six levels: international martial arts level (international athletes), martial arts level (athletes), first-class soldiers (first-class athletes), second-class soldiers (second-class athletes), third-class soldiers (third-class athletes) and martial arts children (young athletes).
