Street art, which originated in Japan, can be used as a child-rearing artifact.
Before I started, I thought it was the same as puppet show, shadow play, puppet show and so on. , that is, props made of paper to help tell stories.
When I arrived at the scene, I found that this was not the case. It does use "paper" as a prop, but it is simpler than I thought, and more accurately, it is to tell stories by looking at pictures. However, this statement seems to be too general, the novel story expression of paper drama is too naive, and it can't reflect how it becomes a weapon for parenting.
Just write more and make it clear.
First of all, what is a paper drama?
We read three stories that day, one of which was called Mr. Chef in a Bad Mood.
At first, Teacher Meng asked the children to shout out the magic numbers one, two and three with her, and answered that a small wooden door of a wooden box was opened with some story cards in it.
The teacher said, "Hey, do you know what happened to this chef?" The children answered "He is angry", and the teacher then asked: "Why is he angry?" After this round of interaction, the teacher said, "Mr. Chef, Mr. Chef, please feel better." At the same time, he took off the top card and revealed the second picture.
But in the second picture, Mr. Chef's mood seems to be getting worse. The teacher asked everyone, "Is Mr. Chef in a better mood?"
The children said in unison, "No ~ ~ Yes ~"
"Then let's see what can make him feel better." The teacher pulled out the second card while talking, but in the third picture, Mr. Chef's mood did not get better, but his face was wrinkled, which attracted the children's laughter.
In this way, after changing seven or eight pictures, Mr. Chef's mood finally got better and made lollipops for the children.
The story-telling teacher invited the children to tell stories on stage that day, and each of them was rewarded with a real lollipop after the completion. This move is too cruel. While licking the lollipop happily, Belle expressed her high recognition of this activity: "Mom, will she send candy next time?" If I send it, I will participate. "
To sum up, paper drama is generally a combination of four elements: stage, picture, performer and audience.
The stage of the paper play is actually the special wooden box.
The wooden box is hollow, and there is a groove in the middle of the bottom, which can just insert a group of pictures with matching sizes. There are three small doors on the side of the wooden box facing the audience: up, left and right. When performing a story, the performer slowly opens three small doors (the upward door can stand directly on the box) with the opening remarks (magic numbers), thus forming a miniature stage visually.
The story of a paper play usually consists of several independent cards with pictures printed on them. The front of the audience is just a picture, and the back is printed with performance lines. How many cards a story contains is not fixed, and the performer can adjust it according to the actual situation.
For example, when I was looking up information, I saw an interesting plan, a local dialect version of Mr. Chef in a Bad Mood. The storyteller changed the brand of Mr. Chef holding lollipops into local delicacies, such as Beijing Roast Duck, Shunde Double Skin Milk, Tianjin Gaba Cuisine, Xuzhou Diguo Chicken, Chuzhou Crispy Sugar, Nanjing Salted Duck and so on. It makes my mouth water.
If the isomorphism of stage and picture constitutes the "prop" of paper drama, then the next two "actors" are more important.
Of course, one of the actors is the storyteller.
Paper drama requires the audience's attention to the stories and pictures told, so the performers should not only vividly and exaggeratedly interpret the stories, but also pretend to be the host, which tests the performers' ability to control the scene and ask questions.
In addition, a very important class of "actors" in paper plays is children who listen to stories.
This is what I think is the most valuable part of paper drama. Children are not only people who listen to stories, but also people who watch performances. They are direct participants in the play and an indispensable part.
Actually, this is easy to understand. After all, the story of paper drama is very simple, and the expressiveness and artistry of the picture are not as good as those of picture books, let alone "drama". If there is no interaction, the performer will tell the story vividly for only three or five minutes, which is not very attractive.
Around 2005, with the concept of picture books and parent-child reading put forward, there was an upsurge in China. Paper drama was introduced to China from Japan, which was mainly used to stimulate children's reading interest and promote children's reading.
In my opinion, paper drama can undoubtedly create a good reading atmosphere, but it can do more than that. With the help of suitable pictures and stories, it can be used as a sharp weapon for parenting. It has become a useful tool to cultivate children's scientific thinking consciousness, language function development, logical thinking training and emotional management training.
For example, the emotional upbringing of children, or take Mr. Chef in a Bad Mood as an example. For preschool children, the first step in learning emotional management is to establish a basic understanding of emotions, that is, to be able to identify the manifestations and intuitive consequences of different emotions.
Then just design the question a little and you can discuss it with your child.
For younger children, you can make some pictures of emotions and emotions and ask the children the above four questions, "What's wrong with this person? how do you know What do you think is the reason? What can you do to make yourself better in the same state (especially negative emotions)? " Play this kind of games more often, and children will have a sharper grasp of their own and others' emotional state.
But at home, I prefer to make my own stage and story according to local conditions, because the process of drawing stories has begun to guide children to think and discuss.
Take "Little Red and Blue" compiled by our family as an example.
In daily life, it is easy for us to find a beautiful box filled with tea or wine as a "paper drama stage".
Then we can take the conflicts and setbacks that children encounter in their lives as story materials and make up our own stories.
For example, the outline of our story is: "Xiaohong and Xiaolan are good friends, but one day they had a conflict while playing." Xiaohong wants to get her car back, but Xiaolan won't give it back to him. Xiaohong started to rob, scratched Xiaolan's hand, and two friends fought ... "
After thinking about this outline, referring to the protagonist in the famous picture book "Little Blue and Yellow", Belle and I cut some little red and blue with colored paper (in fact, we originally planned to have little yellow and blue, but unfortunately there was no yellow colored paper at home), and then asked Belle to create this story card with me.
I ask questions, she posts them, she draws them.
For example, on the first page, I want to explain that Xiaohong and Xiaolan are good friends. I asked her, "What's it like to be with a good friend?" "Happy" "What expression do you think they will have if they are happy?"
Finally, Belle drew two friends holding hands and smiling.
"Xiaohong wanted to get her car back, but Xiaolan refused to give it back to him. What do you think Xiaohong is doing? "
"Little red reached for the car and scratched Xiaolan. What is Xiaolan's mood? "
Through these questions, Bell completes the conflict in the story. Then the more important part comes. We should not only make children realize that there will be contradictions between good friends, but also make them realize that everything can be solved and there will be more than one solution.
At this time, we can ask the child: "Xiaohong wants her car back. Do you have any other solutions? "
At this time, my sister, who always thought we were "naive" and only willing to watch, couldn't help but join in and made her own "solution" with her sister. At first glance, it seems that the methods of the two people are the same, as if they are exchanging things, but listening carefully to their descriptions is actually different.
Sister said Xiaolan liked Xiaohong's car very much, so she exchanged many sweets and balloons with Xiaohong. Sister said that Xiaohong wanted to get her car back, so she took a ball to Xiaolan (the ball was the same as Xiaolan's) and changed her car (Belle thought Xiaohong was a little girl and should wear a bow).
I told the story twice with their ending, probably because of my own creation, and they found it particularly interesting. It suddenly occurred to me that this game is very suitable for children in kindergartens or primary schools, so there will be more and more interesting solutions.
The next discussion is not over yet. We not only let children know that there are solutions to things, but also let them know that different methods have their own advantages and disadvantages.
Parents can ask these questions: "Who do you think is better in fighting with them?" "What do you think of your way? Why? "
In the process, you may hear many unexpected answers. For example, my sister thinks her method is more "fair" than her sister's, because the car is originally red. If Xiaolan wants to play, Xiaolan needs to find something to exchange.
"Fairness" means that my sister's way of thinking is closer to "social person", while my sister will be simpler, more direct and goal-oriented. This is related to the age gap between the two sisters. But both my 9-year-old sister and my 4-year-old sister think that fighting is not a good solution.
In this way, in telling stories and chatting, children's social skills, problem-solving skills and communication and expression skills have been silently improved.
Finally, by the way, paper drama originated from the street performance art in Showa era in Japan, which is called "Zhiju" in Japanese and means "drama" in Japanese. But in my opinion, shouldn't this come from our Latin movies in old Beijing? Our Latin films are also equipped with boxes, and a story consists of several pictures. Performers scroll the picture with lyrics to explain the content of the picture, and drums, gongs and cymbals are also equipped in special and key links, which are jingling and very lively. I remember when I was in college, the old gentleman who made a special trip to the Grand View Garden to worship foreign films learned a lyric: "If you look inside again, you will always hear clearly. I thought the working people wanted to build our Beijing ... ".
It's a pity that there are few foreign movies now. But maybe we can use paper drama to inherit this art form to some extent at home and in class.
