What's the difference between Indian dance, belly dance and snake dance?
Belly dance originated in the Middle East and spread with the expansion of the Islamic Empire. It has different combinations in a wide range of areas from Turkey in the west, India in the east and Russia in the north to Egypt and North Africa in the south. Indian dance and snake dance are traditional dances in India, some of which have the posture of absorbing belly dance, but they are still easy to distinguish. Belly dancing in the Middle East is obviously more passionate, while India is more subtle and gentle, and the background music is quite different.
