What's the difference between Taekwondo, Karate, Sanda and Judo? What is the difference?
Taekwondo:
Taekwondo is a martial art that originated from the Korean peninsula. It is a sport with martial arts and fighting as the core, self-cultivation as the basis, tempering people's will and inspiring people's spirit as the purpose, expressing people's awareness of existence through the body and concretizing people's spiritual needs.
Taekwondo: refers to kicking, prancing and kicking.
Boxing: It means hitting, attacking and defending with the fist.
Tao: a method, a combination.
Literally, Taekwondo is a martial arts technique that attacks with hands and feet.
Tracing back to history, after a long-term study of Taekwondo, it is found that Taekwondo was originally developed on the basis of the 32 styles of Shaolin Wushu in China, through the integration of the wisdom of the Korean people on the Korean Peninsula and their folk Wushu, and through continuous evolution, perfection, innovation and development. The development of Taekwondo is a microcosm of the development of human survival consciousness. When people are attacked by external forces, they will have instinctive self-defense consciousness. The foundation of Taekwondo is an instinctive self-defense response under natural living conditions, which evolved from this defensive passive posture. With the continuous expansion of human life and living space and frequent changes in production and living environment, in order to meet the needs of social life, human beings should not only have the physical strength to survive, but also learn to defend against attacks from other races and wild animals. With the needs of development, Taekwondo develops from passive action form to active defense and attack form, and finally develops to a formal and perfect standard.
Jiu jitsu:
Japanese jujitsu has a lot of fighting skills, including hitting, throwing, joint skills and strangulation skills. "Jiu Jitsu"-Jiu Jitsu means "the method of softness", which is applicable to all martial arts systems in Japan, and "softness" means flexibility. Jiu Jitsu is characterized by making full use of the lever principle, rather than confronting and comparing with opponents. Jiu Jitsu practitioners will choose to use skills to make their opponents yield or exhaust their physical strength, and finally subdue their opponents. However, in ancient times, jujitsu was regarded as a secondary martial art. Because most samurai use swords first and take fencing as the most important martial art, Japanese jujitsu has formed a variety of fighting systems, each of which embodies some of the most primitive techniques and strategies. Give two examples: judo, focusing on throwing, karate, focusing on kicking.
Karate:
Karate is a kind of martial arts in Japan. In Ryukyu, ancient Japan, weapons were always banned because of the long-term policy of banning weapons. Therefore, people have to create unarmed combat technology in order to survive. Especially at the beginning of17th century, it was forbidden to carry and keep weapons, so in the upper class of Ryukyu, referring to China's boxing, a unique fighting technique was created, which was the original karate and was called "Tang Hand". Its original meaning is "boxing imported from China". At the beginning of this century, karate people in Okinawa, Japan, changed "Tang hand" to "empty hand" out of national pride. Karate is not as famous as Japanese martial arts. It originated in the prosperous Tang Dynasty in China and was brought back to Japan by Japanese martial arts communicators for improvement. Originally called "Tang Shou", it was officially renamed as Karate on 1935 because of the relationship between Japanese pronunciation and "Karate".
sanda
Sanda is a martial arts event in which two people use offensive and defensive techniques such as kicking, hitting and falling to subdue each other with their bare hands according to certain rules. It is an important part of China Wushu. It is divided into ancient Sanshou (with strong lethality) and modern Sanda (with more restrictions). As the earliest development of Sanda in ancient times, Sanshou should be able to fight against single and weapon or multi-person fighting, attacking with head, fingers, palm, fist, elbow, shoulder, knee, leg, hip and arm. The main techniques are hitting, kicking, taking, falling and falling, among which elbow and knee are techniques. Pay attention to surprise in war, not seeking flowers, but seeking victory and being practical. Modern Sanda is a common attack and defense technique consisting of straight boxing, swinging boxing, copying boxing, whipping boxing, kicking, kicking and throwing. Sanda has no routines, only single strokes and combinations.
