Effect of color matching of reed bud bait on fish

1. Target species preference

When choosing the pattern or color of bait, we should first consider the preference of the target fish and throw away the common food close to the target fish as soon as possible.

For example, mandarin fish like to eat fish, shrimp or aquatic animals smaller than themselves. In the wild, Siniperca chuatsi especially likes to eat Wuchang fish. Wuchang fish's body is blue-gray and its abdomen is silver-gray, so we can choose the corresponding color bait.

2. Visibility in water

The clearer the water, the higher the visibility. In muddy water, it is difficult for fish to see the position of bait. The higher the clarity, the fish can still see your position at a distance.

Therefore, underwater visibility is very important, and it is also the first element of fishing. In clear water, bait with natural color should be selected, and in turbid water, bait with bright color should be selected.

3. Light in water

Illuminance refers to the depth at which light penetrates water, which also depends on the weather. Sunny days allow more light to penetrate the water, and dark clouds will decrease.

Weather conditions will also change the choice of fishing, and the amount of light will also change the position of fish. In the case of weak light, choose bright colors or eye-catching colors, and the effect will be better.
