What exactly is a prefabricated building?

Assembled building refers to the building that is assembled and connected by the components produced by the factory at the construction site. Columns, plates, beams and other components that should have been poured in situ are produced and shaped in the factory, transported to the site for assembly and made into joints. Finally, these components are combined by on-site pouring to form a complete building.

Assembled buildings can be divided into concrete structure, steel structure and wood structure according to different structural characteristics, and the three structures have their own advantages. From the perspective of industrialization and environmental protection performance, steel structure has the highest degree of industrialization, and wood structure uses raw materials for ecological protection. The three structures are suitable for different building types. Concrete structures are generally used in multi-storey and small high-rise buildings; Steel structure is suitable for high-rise and super-high-rise buildings with high seismic requirements; Wood structure is mainly suitable for luxury villas.
