Traditional container terminal

Our newly revised geography book focuses on this terminal. On March 23, 20 19, the Shandong provincial government issued a policy to cancel the provincial toll station of the expressway, and the first fully automatic container terminal in Asia was formally established.

As a transportation major, I know this dock very well, because it is a compulsory course for our major. As an important part of logistics, wharf is very necessary. The fully automatic wharf of Qingdao Port in Shandong Province is the most prominent and largest wharf in Asia. This dock uses the same system as Alibaba Express sorting equipment, mainly artificial intelligence, but there are no porters on the dock, and all the workers and machines are replaced by blue logistics vehicles, which can carry containers to designated locations. This is the most advanced logistics system in China. Hundreds of cars run 24 hours a day. In this continuous operation, no accident happened and no goods were lost. These cars mainly interact with underground magnetic induction nails. Through the control of big data and artificial intelligence, the efficiency is improved by about 30% compared with the traditional artificial wharf. It only takes two hours for a 500-ton draught ship to unload left-handed goods, and the speed is really amazing.

This dock is completely composed of electric power system, and it doesn't need to consume any other energy. Most workers do some maintenance work. Even at night, under the control of artificial intelligence, you can work indiscriminately. Now, with 5g technology and the latest unmanned lidar technology, this port and dock are constantly being updated to make its carrying capacity stronger.

China may just be an experiment in Qingdao, but I believe this technology will be used in more and more places and docks in China, which will make China's shipping and logistics more prosperous. I also hope that the motherland can be revitalized. We should also contribute to the prosperity of our motherland.
