Tianjin Shidiao is one of the most representative Han folk songs in Tianjin, China. Singing with the pronunciation of Tianjin local dialect, the content is easy to understand, the tone is loud and clear, and it has a strong Tianjin local flavor. Its performance form is that one or two people stand and sing with the sub-board, while others accompany with the big three-stringed instrument and the four-stringed instrument. Except for a few duets, most of them are soloists, and the accompaniment instruments are Da Sanxian, Hu Si and Jiezi. There are back tones, old Yuanyang tones, Laha tones, flat tones and so on. The sentence pattern is mainly 7 sentences, with long and short sentences alternating; There are adagio, medium board, 26 board and buttress board. At first, it was amateur singing by boatmen, porters, rickshaw pullers and others. The tunes were very rich, including many Tianjin local folk songs and foreign tunes. On May 20th, 2006, Quyi was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
