Tao Jin's Creation and Achievements

After the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2009, Tao Jin became the dominant cultural circle in Jiaxing. Under his leadership, the comrades bid farewell to the small circle activities of entertaining themselves in the past, publicized to the whole city, combined Hanfu with Han folk traditions and Chinese studies education, and advocated the flexible use and development of Chinese culture in real life, paying equal attention to theory and practice. At that time, not many people in the city knew Hanfu, and even fewer people knew Han folk customs. At first, the publicity activities of Tao Jin and others were puzzled and ridiculed by most citizens, and they were regarded as putting on a show, grandstanding, retro, "kimono", "Hanbok" and "ancient costume". What's more, they were under double pressure from their families and work units. However, Tao Jin dared to face the doubts and challenges of society and overcame all kinds of difficulties. In the initial lack of funds and venues, he led his colleagues to patiently explain the national costumes and cultural traditions of the Han nationality to the public and held various exhibition activities from scratch. During this period, with the support of Nanhu Evening News, some he cheng people realized the existence of Hanfu, the lack of Chinese culture and the urgency of rescue, and made a breakthrough. Later, in traditional festival activities, he was active in five counties and two districts, and took pains to express his views, so that more people could intuitively understand Hanfu and the holiday customs of the Han nationality.

Volunteers with China culture are increasing. In order to gather everyone's strength and better carry forward the excellent culture of the Han nationality, Tao Jin began to prepare for the establishment of associations. After negotiation and hard work, Huaxia Weiyang Han Culture Society was formally established on April 10 (the third day of March), and later renamed Weiyang Traditional Culture Promotion Center.

After the establishment of the association, its influence has become increasingly apparent. Deloitte Cultural Park, Jiaxing19th Floor, Tongxiang18th Floor, Xiuzhou Middle School, Yan Guan Scenic Area Management Committee, Hanyunhan Cultural Society of Jiaxing University, Literature Society, Jiaxing Vocational and Technical College, Jiaxing Technician College, Jiaxing Zongzi Museum, City Investment Company, Jiaxing Museum and Zhou Meihua Scenic Area all sought cooperation or invitation, and cooperated with Hangzhou, Shanghai, Nanjing and Wenzhou. Zhejiang Daily, Jiaxing Daily, Nanhu Evening News, Haining Daily, Tongxiang Edition of Jiaxing Daily and Jiaxing TV Station reported many times. Participants in various activities are becoming more and more extensive. Half of the people walking in the street wearing Hanfu can recognize this kind of clothing, and more and more people choose traditional weddings and bar mitzvahs in China. People began to re-understand the traditional folk culture of the Han nationality and gained a high degree of recognition. This is inseparable from the promotion and publicity work led by Tao Jin. The interview with Jiaxing TV Station's "Life in Cold and Warm" further expanded his popularity among Jiaxing people. At the same time, the ties between Tao Jin and the cultural groups in the surrounding areas have been strengthened.

The center is a non-profit volunteer group, which is spontaneously composed of citizens from five counties and two districts, and is devoted to the inheritance, revival and development of China traditional culture with the Han folk culture as the breakthrough point. It is the first group in Jiaxing to study and publicize Han costumes and Han folk culture. It is the first group in Jiaxing that can hold traditional wedding, adult ceremony and sacrificial ceremony of orthodox Han nationality. Activities involve Hanfu, etiquette, festivals, Chinese studies, calligraphy, guqin, Go, China dance, China makeup, hair accessories, literature, tea, audience seating, celebration planning and so on.

Tao Jin initiated the industrial development of Jiaxing Han traditional folk customs, especially the traditional wedding industry in China, and became an authority in this field. Anyone who wants to hold an orthodox Chinese wedding in Jiaxing (such as Zhou wedding and Tang wedding) will inevitably turn to Tao Jin for etiquette guidance. Of course, with the development, several merchants appeared in the follow-up of Hanfu etiquette in Jiaxing area, either leaving the community or imitating the community, but these merchants always maintained friendly relations with the community.
