What is the difference between BLW feeding and traditional complementary feeding?
The BLW feeding method is very different from the traditional supplementary feeding method. BLW advocates giving the baby a big piece of food from the beginning (both soft and hard are in line with the baby's situation), so that the baby can eat it himself, instead of feeding the paste-like complementary food. Parents who believe in BLW believe that this method can give babies more autonomy and let them choose their own food, thus cultivating their independence and creativity.
In contrast, the traditional way to add complementary food is from mud to coarse particles, to grab food and then to food on the family table.
