The "Dog Buns" were created in 1858, during the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, in a farmer's family in Wuqing County, Hebei Province. He named his son "Dogzi" for the sake of peace and expects to be well-fed like a puppy (according to the northern custom, this name is full of simple love and affection). Gao Gui has a good hand at making buns. He was the first in Tianjin to put bone broth as filling, the first to use rice flour buns, so the size of the neat, white, soft, bite open the flow of oil, fat but not greasy, delicious flavor. When he was in his twenties, he was ashamed to use his nickname as the name of his store, and changed it to "Deju No.". However, people still like to call him "Dogfu".
