"It rains in succession during the Qingming Festival". The day before in Tomb-Sweeping Day, the weather was fine. Some teachers and students of our school lined up in front of the Martyrs Monument in Zhenshan Park to sweep graves.

Along the way, our brigade Committee held the school flag in hand, and the young pioneers walked with strict discipline with flowers in their hands. Passers-by looked at us with admiration.

It was a long time before we reached our destination-the Martyrs Monument in Zhenshan Park. After a while, the mourning ceremony began and the audience was silent. The host solemnly read out the mourning speech. First of all, we should observe a three-minute silence, then the representative of the Young Pioneers will make a speech, then present a bouquet to the martyrs, and then swear with the teacher: always be ready to fight for the cause of * * *-always be ready. Finally, the teacher showed us around the monument. Around the monument, I can't help thinking: how precious the spirit of those revolutionary martyrs who fought bravely with the enemy during their lifetime is! In order to live a happy life for the next generation, they worked hard and finally exchanged their blood and lives for a peaceful and peaceful life today. We can't let them down, we must cherish them more!
