Preview of the 2020 Beijing Auto Show|Inventory of pure electric vehicles at the Beijing Auto Show

As the epidemic raged around the world in the first half of 2020, major A-class auto shows were almost completely wiped out.

The new cars scheduled to be released by OEMs this year will basically be released online.

As the epidemic situation in our country improves, the Beijing Auto Show, the only A-class auto show in the second half of the year, is finally ready to kick off this fall.

Let’s sort out in order of the first letter of the brand, what important pure electric vehicles will be released at the Beijing Auto Show that we have been saving for a long time.

These pure electric vehicles also reveal the manufacturers' future plans.

●Audi Q4 e-tron As we all know, Audi’s research and development speed of pure electric vehicles has always been faster among traditional manufacturers.

The Audi Q4 e-tron is the second pure electric SUV after the e-tron.

The Audi Q4 e-tron is built on the Volkswagen MEB platform and has a maximum cruising range of 500km.

It is reported that the Audi Q4 e-tron will be officially unveiled at this year’s Beijing Auto Show and will be officially launched in the spring of 2021.

From the perspective of model positioning, the most direct competitor of this car is Tesla Model Y.

The appearance and interior of the new car largely continue the styling of the e-tron, making it highly recognizable.

In terms of power, the car will be available in two versions with a cruising range of 400km and 500km respectively, but the specific parameters may not be confirmed until the car is released.

●Domestic Audi e-tron Although it is not certain whether the Audi Q4 e-tron is made in China, it is certain that the domestically produced Audi e-tron will be officially unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show.

As Audi's first pure electric car, we have done detailed test drives and videos about the e-tron before. The car's performance in all aspects is very balanced. The only thing that makes it difficult for consumers to get close to it is the high price.

With the Audi e-tron being made in China, the price of the car is bound to be significantly reduced, which is good news for consumers.

It is reported that the domestic e-tron will be equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack with a battery energy density of 142Wh/kg and a working range of 465km, which is almost the same as the imported e-tron.

The powertrain uses an AC asynchronous motor. The front motor has a maximum power of 115kW and a peak torque of 226N·m; the rear motor has a maximum power of 172kW and a peak torque of 314N·m.

●BMW iX3 BMW has also started its layout of electric vehicles very early, such as the i3, which has always been a controversial model.

BMW’s upcoming iX3 is also likely to become BMW’s first pure electric SUV model produced in China and sold around the world.

It is reported that the car will be officially mass-produced in the third quarter and will be launched by the end of the year.

The BMW iX3 basically continues the design of the X3, with a similar overall shape, but incorporates the characteristics of pure electric models in details.

Perhaps for insurance reasons, the car does not have an eye-catching design.

The same is true for the interior. Except for the addition of blue decoration, the interior design of iX3 is almost the same as that of X3.

In terms of power, the car is equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack with a capacity of 74kWh, a maximum power of 210kW, a peak torque of 400N·m, and an NEDC cruising range of more than 500km.

Considering its domestic attributes, the price of the car is likely to surprise us.

●Ford Mustang Mach-E In fact, Ford Mustang Mach-E was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show as early as 2019, but this is the first time it has been unveiled in China.

The emergence of Ford Mustang Mach-E not only means that this family has a new member in 55 years, but also marks that Ford has officially entered a new era of electrification.

Different from the muscle car in our impression, Ford Mustang Mach-E is a standard SUV, but its hanging LOGO is still "that horse".

The car's exterior and interior design leans heavily towards a sense of technology. Rather than saying it has some connection with the "Mustang", it is better to say that it is another new model of the "Mustang" family model.

According to the overseas version, the car is available in rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions. Each version has a cruising range of between 378km and 483km depending on the battery capacity.

Considering the history and influence of the "Mustang family", this is likely to be one of the most important pure electric vehicles at this Beijing Auto Show.

●Honda M-NV Honda has previously released the X-NV model. We can simply compare this car to the pure electric version of the X-RV.

At this Beijing Auto Show, the M-NV, which is one size larger than the X-NV, will also be unveiled soon.

Honda M-NV is still positioned as a small SUV, but its appearance design is very different from the X-NV.

The car adopts a willow-shaped headlight design, and air intake decorations are also added to both sides of the bumper. The visual effect looks younger and sportier, and has some more original attributes than the X-NV.

In terms of power, M-NV is equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 120kW and a top speed of 140km/h. The battery pack uses a ternary lithium battery pack from Jiangsu Times New Energy Technology Company.
