Brief Introduction to the Author of History of Chinese Ceramics
I studied pottery with my father Professor Lin Zhi since I was a child. Later, I studied in the Palace Museum with Mr. Chen Wanli and Mr. Sun Yingzhou, and went to major kiln sites all over the country to identify the porcelain collected in the museum. 1977 ——1985 first discovered and identified the kiln site of Ruyao. He is currently employed as a visiting researcher of the Palace Museum, distinguished professor of the Academy of Fine Arts of Capital Normal University, consultant of the Ancient Ceramics Committee of China Silicate Society and consultant of China Ancient Ceramics Society.
