Measures for the administration of energy standardization

Article 1 In order to strengthen the management of energy standardization, these Measures are formulated in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Standardization Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Regulations for the Implementation of Standardization in People's Republic of China (PRC). Article 2 The basic task of energy standardization is to formulate the energy standards required by all aspects of energy from development to utilization, and organize and supervise the implementation of energy standards, so as to achieve the purpose of rational development and utilization of energy and improve social and economic benefits. Article 3 The main contents of formulating energy standards are:

(1) terms and graphic symbols of energy;

(two) energy monitoring, inspection and calculation methods;

(5) energy consumption quota;

(six) the economic operation of energy-consuming equipment and its system;

(seven) the quality certification requirements for energy products and energy-saving products;

(eight) other energy-saving technical requirements for energy development, utilization and management.
