Difference between electronic ignition system and traditional ignition system

The difference between the two ignition systems lies in the control mode, application scope, performance and effect.

1. control mode: traditional ignition system uses mechanical switch (contact) to control the on-off of primary current of ignition coil to complete ignition. In the electronic ignition system, the igniter controls the on-off of the primary coil according to the signal of the signal generator to complete the ignition.

2. Application scope: The application scope of electronic ignition system is expanding day by day, and the traditional ignition system is gradually replaced by the new electronic ignition system.

3. Performance and effect: The electronic ignition system has the advantages of high ignition voltage and energy, little influence by engine working conditions and use conditions, simple structure, reliable operation, less maintenance and adjustment workload, fuel saving and less pollution.
