What are the advantages and disadvantages of different types of single greenhouses?

According to its building materials and structural characteristics, single building greenhouses can be divided into bamboo-wood structure multi-column greenhouses, cantilever hanging bamboo-wood structure greenhouses, tension hanging column greenhouses, columnless steel frame greenhouses, assembled galvanized thin-walled tube greenhouses, composite prefabricated skeleton columnless greenhouses and so on.

(1) The multi-column greenhouse with bamboo structure takes miscellaneous wood or bamboo poles as columns, bamboo as arch poles and pull rods, and the greenhouse connected and fixed with lead wires is a primary and simple form. The disadvantage is that there are many columns, which are inconvenient to operate, and the firmness is poor. Bamboo columns buried in the soil are easy to rot. Its advantages are easy construction and convenient material acquisition.

(2) The bamboo-wood greenhouse with hanging beams and columns is an improvement on the bamboo-wood multi-column greenhouse. Although the number of columns has been reduced by 2/3, the rot problem of columns buried in the soil has not been solved.

(3) Bamboo-cement mixed hanging beam and hanging column greenhouse is an improvement of hanging beam and hanging column bamboo structure greenhouse, which mainly uses reinforced cement prefabricated poles instead of miscellaneous wood or bamboo poles, thus solving the problem of rot at the lower part of poles.

(4) The welding shed of reinforced structure is a single truss welded by different types of round steel, which is buried and fixed, and then welded into a whole with five round steel as tie rods. The greenhouse with this structure has good light transmission and convenient operation, and can also be provided with thermal insulation curtains. It is not widely used in production.

(5) Galvanized thin-walled tube assembled greenhouse is a standardized product produced by professional manufacturers. Although it also has some advantages of steel welded greenhouse, it can be assembled into greenhouses with different lengths according to land conditions, but its production and use are also limited due to construction costs and maintenance problems.
