The day before yesterday, I saw a student on social media complaining about studying for her exams, and inside the comments, someone asked her what she was majoring in. But I could tell right away that she was majoring in journalism. She mentioned "hot spots," "newscasts," and "features," which are closely related to our studies as journalism students.

But I enjoy the process of thinking about it. The college entrance examination fills in the aspiration to choose the journalism major, also completely because of interest, the university most satisfied me is also to learn their favorite majors. It brings me the biggest help, is to let me learn to objectively, dialectically to see the world, learn to be independent, rational to judge everything around. This is also a kind of media literacy, for the Internet in the complex information, do not people cloud cloud, sometimes we have to learn to be a "bystander".

Particularly now, the entire media industry is in transition, upgrading and change, Internet rumors, information bias, group polarization, news reversal ...... various problems are constantly exposed. In my opinion, no matter whether it is the mainstream media, or the general audience, or all kinds of self-media, we need to know how to restrain our emotions, ensure objectivity, and insist on rationality.

In fact, many people have the ideal of journalism, "the iron shoulder to bear the moral justice, wonderful hands write articles", but this is more in line with the ideal of the traditional media era, the reporter is like the embodiment of justice. In the era of new media, or smart media, as media scholars say, this "imagination of fame" has collapsed. But I still hope that in the future, I can always study media-related knowledge, engaged in media-related careers, whether it is a media organization, or self-media people, at least to afford my interest and my four years of knowledge.
