How many motorcycle gears are there? How to use them?

There are five motorcycle gears, and the usage is as follows:

1, 1 file

Starting gear, auto start's gear. Compared with reverse gear, the performance is basically the same, and it is not suitable for continuous high-speed operation. Under normal circumstances, you can shift into second gear after the inertia of the car movement.

2. Second gear

Passing gears are mainly used to pass through complex roads and deal with complex situations, such as passing through sharp bends (right angles) without special obstacles, busy sections with crowded people, sections with large slopes and bumpy roads, etc.

3. Third gear

Transition gears are mainly used for low-speed driving on urban roads. According to the situation, the acceleration can be easily transferred to the fourth gear, and the deceleration can be easily reduced to the second gear.

Fourth gear, fourth gear

Driving gear is mainly used for long-term high-speed and economical driving, and the most economical speed of most vehicles will appear in the low-speed section of the fourth gear.

5. Fifth gear

High-speed gear, mainly used for long-distance driving on expressways. The first gear starts to accelerate to about 10km/h, then rises to the second gear, 30km/h to the third gear, 40km/h to the fourth gear, and then the faster speed is all the fifth gear, but sometimes the fifth gear can cruise at a speed of 30~40 per hour on a flat road.

Precautions for circular locking:

1, remember the highest grade. When the gear is in the highest gear, it must not be upshifted, because when the cycle is in the highest gear, another upshifting will become neutral. If you suddenly change from power gear to non-power gear when you need to overtake, the process will become very dangerous.

2. Don't directly change from high gear to low gear. This is mainly the process of shifting gears. If you were driving in the fifth gear, you can't jump directly from the fifth gear to 1 gear or the neutral gear of the second gear in order to save trouble, because if the speed is not lower than a certain speed, if you forcibly shift to the lower gear, the wheels may lock up and roll over, which is still very dangerous.

3. Cyclic gear because the whole shift process can form a cycle, we need to pay attention to not stepping on neutral when the gear is in the high gear, and don't resist. When slowing down, it is best to pay attention to the downshift of the first gear, instead of directly stepping on neutral from the fifth gear.
