Beiling Maruko, a traditional dish of Han nationality, is highly respected by local people in Lijin County, Shandong Province. It comes from traditional folk cooking techniques. Before the 1970s, it only appeared at individual family dinners. After 1980s, Chen, Zhao, Yue, Li and others in Beiling Township introduced Beiling Maruko, a famous local food, to the market and gradually became the representative of Lijin food culture.
Gudao fresh fish soup is a popular local specialty food in Dongying, which is famous for its thick white soup and fresh and tender fish. At present, there are hundreds of fish soups in Dongying Island, and people who come here to taste fresh fish soups are bustling and crowded, adding a beautiful landscape to the island.
