The story of Dong Fangshuo stealing peaches.

The story of Dong Fangshuo stealing peaches originated from a legend: On Emperor Wu's birthday, a blackbird fell from the sky and landed in front of the palace. Emperor Wu didn't know its name. Dong Fangshuo replied: "This is the mount of the Empress Dowager Xi' qingluan', and the Empress Dowager has come to celebrate the birthday of the emperor." Sure enough, in a blink of an eye, the Queen Mother of the West floated up with seven peaches. The Queen Mother of the West kept two peaches for herself, and the other five were presented to Emperor Wu. After eating it, the emperor wants to keep the seeds. The Queen Mother of the West said, "This peach has been solid for 3,000 years, and its original place is thin, so it is not born." He pointed to Dong Fangshuo and said, "He stole my Xiantao three times." On this basis, Dong Fangshuo began to steal peaches. Dong Fangshuo is considered as the birthday girl, because he has a life span of18,000 years. Later, the emperor's birthday was often celebrated by Dong Fangshuo stealing peaches. "Shouxing" has become an element of traditional culture in China, and is used as a theme in painting and stationery.

"Fairy Biography" Volume 1: The name Pingyuan is too tiring. I have lived in Wuzhong and have been a calligrapher for decades. When Liang Wudi wrote it, he said it was cheap and worshipped it as A Lang. When Emperor Zhao showed us, people, saints or mortals made a simple and silent trip, or made suggestions, or played with words, not knowing their purpose. At the beginning, Lang was abandoned to avoid troubled times, and the official office was established, and the wind gradually drifted away. Later, I saw him selling medicine in the five lakes wise man Huiji, and I suspected that his life was good. According to Dong Fangshuo's Records of the Historian and Hanshu, he is known as "the hero of the Historical Records" and "the boy is dazzling, and the descendants are good, and the strange words are attached to the new moon". See Old Star. Also, the story of Hanwu, a series of "Ancient Novel Hooking": "Dongjun sent a dwarf, ... called Dong Fangshuo to ask. When the new moon arrived, he sent a message saying,' Genie, why did you suddenly rebel? "Why hasn't your mother come yet?" It's wrong to be short of hands, because it refers to the new moon saying, "The queen mother planted peaches for three thousand years, which is not good, and stole them three times." Liu Shi's "Picking Cherry and Giving it to Yuan Jushi" says: "Penglai feather guests seem to visit each other and don't steal peaches." Taking Dong Fangshuo stealing peaches as a picture, it expresses people's good wishes for health and longevity. Some people have sacrificed their lives with this picture, and its significance is self-evident.
