The difference between hydraulic punch and servo punch

1. Because the hydraulic press works by transmitting static pressure and dynamic pressure, the power equipment can be arranged separately, and multiple cylinders can work together, so that a large-tonnage hydraulic press can be manufactured, such as a die forging hydraulic press with a nominal pressure of 700,000 kn. However, due to the strength limitation of parts, mechanical punch is not suitable for producing large tonnage.

2. The mechanical punching machine is a kind of motor, which drives the pulley to synchronize with the gear through the shaft, and then uses the crankshaft to make the slider move up and down, transforming the curvilinear motion into linear motion, which has great inertia and is generally divided into primary transmission and secondary transmission.

The hydraulic punch uses the stroke of the oil cylinder to complete a linear motion up and down, with minimal inertia and shallow stretching function. There is pressure loss when the liquid flows, so the efficiency is low and the movement speed is slow, which reduces the productivity. Therefore, for a fast and small hydraulic punch, it is not as simple and flexible as a crank press.
