Does anyone know the Marfrig Group

Marfrig is the third largest Brazilian food processing company after JBS and Brasil Foods. The company is headquartered in S?o Paulo.

Marfrig has 10 distribution centers and offices throughout Brazil, the United States, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay.Marfrig slaughters an average of 33,500 cattle per day and produces 232,000 tons of burgers.

Marfrig Global Foods, one of the world's largest producers of animal protein, announced April 9 that it plans to acquire a 51 percent stake in National Beef Packing Company, the fourth-largest beef processor in the United States, based in Kansas City, Mo. At the same time, Marfrig Global Foods plans to sell its Keystone Foods, or Mingei Foods, the 10th-largest poultry company in the U.S., with the aim of reducing the company's debt.

Marfrig Global Foods has agreed to pay $969 million for the purchased stake. Upon completion of the transaction, Marfrig Global Foods will be the second-largest beef processor in the world, with consolidated sales of $13 billion.
