In fact, as early as 1999, Chery started the road of independent research and development of new energy technologies and constantly mastered key core technologies. After more than 20 years of preparation, Chery has integrated the technical routes of hybrid, extended range, pure electricity and hydrogen energy, seized the development window, and played a "combination boxing" for the strategic development of new energy, once again achieving a new stage of leap-forward development with technology.

New brands and products help Chery's new energy sources to be more comprehensive.

First of all, let's take a look at the independent new energy electric brand released this time-ICAR and Xingtu brand new energy high-end series-Star Times STERRA.

Among them, the iCAR brand will cover SUVs, cars and other products, provide intelligent solutions for system scenes, and comprehensively enhance the user's car experience. In addition, iCAR will hold a brand launch conference on the eve of Shanghai Auto Show, and its first model, ICAR S56, will make its debut. Star Age STERRA is mainly aimed at high-end users, and the price is between 200,000 and 500,000 yuan. All models are based on the new E0X pure electric platform. In the future, medium and large cars, SUVs and MPVs will be built. Power system includes pure electric and extended range. The product naming method will consist of Terra+ English letters. The first pure electric vehicle (code E03) will be named Terraes, and the first pure electric SUV (code E0Y) will be named Terraet. Two new cars also made their debut at this conference.

In addition, Chery TJ- 1 also met with you for the first time at the press conference. The new car focuses on "light off-road" and will provide two power versions, namely TJ- 1 PHEV equipped with 1.5T hybrid engine. The comprehensive fuel consumption of WLTC is only 100 km, and the cruising range is 100km+. It is reported that the new car is expected to be in July and August this year.

Two platforms for electrification transformation: super hybrid platform and E0X high-performance electric platform.

In addition, Chery has built two new platforms based on Mars architecture-super hybrid platform and E0X high-performance electric platform. In the future, all brand models of Chery Group will come from these two platforms.

Among them, the first product of E0X high-performance electric platform will be launched in the fourth quarter of this year (the new car of Xingyue series mentioned above will be built based on E0X high-performance electric platform). This platform supports 800V high-voltage overcharge, ultra-low drag coefficient, intelligent cockpit, hyperspace efficiency and air suspension system. At the event site, Chery New Energy demonstrated the power of E0X high-performance electric platform to replenish energy efficiently, and the charge time from 20% to 80% was only 13 minutes.

In terms of intelligence, the platform has EEA5.0 electronic and electrical architecture, 1000TOPS high computing power, gigabit Ethernet high transmission, soft and hard decoupling full stack controllable, four-layer security protection, high security, full support for high-order intelligent driving, and extreme intelligent cockpit 6.0.

In addition, the super hybrid platform can produce compact, medium-sized cars, SUVs and MPV models. Four-wheel-drive models accelerate from 0- 100km/h in only 4.26 seconds, with pure cruising range of 165 km, fuel consumption of 4.2L/ 100km and comprehensive cruising range exceeding 1400 km.

The super hybrid platform also has the characteristics of 14+4 modular design, which is flexible and extensible, and can achieve full coverage of various models and power combinations. In terms of models, it covers A~B class cars/SUVs and MPV, five-seat, six-seat, seven-seat and other models. In terms of power combination, it covers 1.5T to 2.0T hybrid special engines, and matches hybrid boxes with different power and torque in 1 and 3rd gears.

Of course, Chery's intelligent and electric products are based on the super hybrid platform and E0X high-performance electric platform. The eight core technologies behind the two platforms, including Kunpeng hybrid engine technology, Kunpeng Power's third-generation Gemini super hybrid gearbox, battery technology, electric drive technology, Xiongshi Zhiyun 6.0 intelligent cockpit technology, intelligent driving technology and Galaxy Ecology, support electric drive.
