Does Sanda belong to Western Wushu or China Wushu? (Give 10 a small reward)
By the way, strictly speaking, Sanshou and Sanda can't be confused. Sanshou is to get rid of some simple and quick tricks in China Wushu for battlefield and practicality. After the reform and opening up, the popular form of competition was once called "Sanshou" and later changed to "Sanda", but now Sanda has nothing to do with China Wushu.
Sanshou is a very complicated concept, which does not exist as a separate discipline, but has specific attack methods from various boxing routines, such as Sanshou in Nanquan, Sanshou in Bagua Palm and Sanshou in Manta Boxing. Seizure is a form of Sanshou in China Wushu, which combines many joint movements of boxing, so the concept of Sanshou is quite complicated.
"Sanda" is now a very clear fighting discipline, represented by Liu Hailong and other figures, combined with leg techniques such as straight hook, right knee strike, right bounce and split, combined with wrestling techniques. Technically, boxing leg and knee techniques draw lessons from western free fighting, and wrestling rules draw lessons from wrestling, Chinese wrestling and China Wushu. However, wrestling in China Wushu can't.
