The heir to the Cai Li Fo fist
Chen Heung returned to his homeland after several years of wandering overseas. He set up a school in his hometown in Xinhui and renamed it Hongshengkan, and at the same time began to create and compile boxing routines. Most of the routines of Cai Li Fo Boxing were born in this period. He spent his life's energy to create Cai Li Fo Quan, which contributed to the development of Chinese martial arts and deserves to be remembered by future generations.
Though Chen Heung had many disciples, the ones who could really inherit his mantle were mainly his two sons, Chen Anbo, Chen Guanbo, and his disciples, Long Zicai and Zhang Yan.
Zhang Yan was the son of an overseas Chinese merchant in Jinshan Dabu, and after Chen Heung defeated Kilis, the overseas Chinese were very excited, and his father immediately sent him to Chen Heung to learn from his master.
Since then, he has been followed from overseas to China, and he also changed his name to Zhang Hongsheng after Chen Hsiang's martial arts school. Later, Zhang Hongsheng's main heirs were Chen Sheng, the Ruan lineage, and the Ruan lineage's main heir was Liu Bin. Lei Chan, Lei Chan's main heir was Tan San.
The main heirs of Chen Guanbo were his own son, Chan Yiu-chee, and his disciple, Yan Yiu-ting. Chan Yiu-chee is the grandson of Chan Heung-kung, the founder of Cai Li Fo. He has been teaching kung fu in Guangzhou for more than 30 years and has had many disciples. The most outstanding ones are the "Four Sages and Eight Junes". The Four Sages are his four outstanding disciples, known as the Four Heavenly Kings. Although these four old-timers have passed away, they still have heirs today who continue to promote Cai Li Fo at home and abroad. The Four Kings of Cai Li Fo are Hu Yunchuo, Guo Tianyang (Wai Jiang Yang) Xia Bici, and Jian Yingjie. They are all former Guangzhou City Cai Li Buddha three ancestors Chen Yaodi in the early pre-liberation disciples.
Hu Yunchuo was famous for his Chinese swordplay. In 1945, Hu won a contest with a Russian Hercules in the city of Foshan. He was famous for a while. His successor was his great disciple, Dr. Huang Dehui. Dr. Wong Tak Fai is a Chinese American who opened his own school in the United States in 1968. Today he has disciples in 37 countries around the world. There are more than 300 academies and martial arts schools. There are more than 550,000 students.
Guo Tianyang is known as "Wai Jiang Yang" in Guangzhou martial arts circles. His Cai Li Buddha nine-section whip was practiced to perfection. In his later years, he used to put a towel around his neck. If someone wanted to attack him, he would immediately roll up the towel and use it as a whip to defend himself. His successor is his son, Master Guo Guitian. Guo Guitian is now teaching and practicing medicine in Qingyuan, Guangdong Province. The family is full of people.
Xia Bicci is a very famous martial artist and injury doctor in the province of Hong Kong and Macao. His specialty is the Drunken Eight Immortals Fist of Cai Li Fo. Xia Bicci has a daughter Xia Jianping inherited his mantle. Master Xia Jianping had opened a school in Kowloon, Hong Kong for many years. She had many disciples all over Hong Kong and Macau. Her Bone-setting and Injury Department was very famous in Hong Kong. After she retired, she immigrated to Canada and settled there.
Jane was a very respected martial artist. His Choy Li Fut Kung Fu is very powerful. Especially his "cross buckle punch" practiced rigid and flexible. When he fought with others, his techniques were endless. He was highly praised by his fellow disciples. (His protégé information is not yet available, and will be added later.)
Long Zicai mainly passes on Ruan Speed. The main source of information on Long Zicai is Ruan Hastings, and the main source of information on Ruan Hastings is Fang Yushu. Au Hon Chuen studied with Fong Yuk Shue in Guangzhou from the twelfth onwards in Cai Li Fo and Hung Gar Kung Fu. He was later taught by Chan Yiu-chee, and finally inherited all of the Cai Li Fo's initial, intermediate and advanced routines. He also mastered Shaolin stakes such as Three Star Stake, Cross Stake, Plum Blossom Stake, Bamboo Stake, Weighing Stake, Big Open Door Stake, Small Open Door Stake and a dozen or so sets of the Southern Fist's Baton, Gun and Knife Technique. In addition, he also knows the traditional sets of Big Palladium, Hoe, Iron Fan, Bridge Stool, Double Hook, Copper Hammer, Five-section Whip and Double Whip. Au Hanquan's profound knowledge in Nanquan provided him with superior conditions for researching and developing Nanquan and training martial arts talents.
In the history of more than 170 years so far, Cai Li Fo has two important figures, one is Chen Yao Edward, the direct grandson of Chen Heung (the third ancestor of Xinhui Hong Sheng Shi Zu Pavilion), and the other is Chen Chang Mao, who is originally from Baisha, Jiangmen. They are the first and the last in the 100-year history of the spread of Cai Li Fo, and are the best of the third generation, with a wide range of students and students. Chen Changmao is Chen Changmao (1862-1953) is Jiangmen Baisha Temple front Li (commonly known as Chen House) people, generations of farmers, parents died at a young age, and his brother Chen Chao rely on each other, because of the family's poverty, the two brothers have a difficult life, fortunate to have the clan uncle Chen Yu care.
Chen Yu was a good friend of Chen Heung, who was a close friend of Chen Yu's. When Chen Heung went out to teach martial arts, he taught him to be a good teacher. The following year, in 1875, Chen Xiang died in his hometown. Chen's eldest son, Chen Anbo, was entrusted with his father's dying wish and taught him everything he had learned, and Changmao practiced martial arts with great diligence. Anshi was more and more important to Changmao, as if he were his brother and sister. The rest of the 10-odd people were recommended to be distributed in the four districts and all over the Pearl River Delta to expand their teaching services.
Baisha Double Ancestral Hall classes, Cai Li Fo martial arts museum director and chief instructor is the famous master Chen Changmao news, Jiangmen and neighboring counties martial arts enthusiasts come in droves, cast in the door to learn the art. During this period, among the Cai Li Fo masters in Siyi, Chen Chang Mao was the first to be recognized in terms of seniority. Subsequently, Chen Chang Mao was invited to Macau for teaching. Nowadays, the originator of the Lo Leung Sports Association, which has a history of more than 60 years in Macau and is renowned worldwide for its lion art, Lo Yuet Seng, is a senior disciple of Chan Cheung Mau. Poon Suk Sum, one of the founders of the Lo Leung Athletic Association, was a true disciple of Lo Yuet Shing. To this day, Chen Changmao is credited with the development of Cai Li Fo in Haojiang.
Between 1942 and 1946, Chen Changmao was already in his eighties and nineties, however, he had a strong heart, in order to "strengthen the country and the people, to protect the family and the country," the ambition, but still quietly work, he specifically selected a group of students in school as apprentices. As a result, 10 outstanding students emerged from this group of students, who played a great role in the succession and spread of Cai Li Fo. These foot soldiers include his son Chen Xionghuan, who was appointed to teach in Xinhui Shadu Branch Museum, and then participated in the anti-Japanese salvation of the country, fought bravely in the battlefield to kill the enemy, and won many war victories, and finally died bravely in the country; his disciple, Zhao Jinrong, got the true tradition of Chen Changmao, who was capable of martial arts and medicine, and served as the chief orthopedic surgeon of Jiangmen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Zhao was the heir to Chen, who passed on his position as the head of the "Four Euphrasia Xiongsheng General Hall" to him. Zhao is Chen's successor, Chen will "Siyi Xiongsheng General Hall" to him as the "master", because of old age, Zhao Jinrong in February last year, this position will be transferred to his younger brother in Hong Kong, Huang Jiang. Lv Shegen was dispatched to Japan in 1987 by the Foreign Affairs Office of Guangdong Province to teach Cai Li Fo techniques. Zhen Songbin in Vancouver, Canada (deceased), Chen Xiangxiong in Saigon, Vietnam (deceased), Zhou Dai Sheng (deceased), Chen Beiying (deceased) and Huang Qinfu. They have contributed to the heritage and development of Cai Li Fo. The seeds were sown then and are fruitful today. The most influential and successful master under Chen Changmao is Huang Jiang, who is now over 80 years old. Huang Jiang is originally from Jiangmen, now living in Hong Kong, is now an internationally renowned Cai Li Fo martial arts master, he adheres to the legacy of the late master, teaching martial arts overseas for decades, students and grandchildren all over the world, one of the most outstanding disciples is the United States of America's Dr. Wong Tak Fai, Dr. Chia Wong in the world's 35 countries to develop more than 200 Cai Li Fo martial arts halls, the disciples of the more than 500,000 people. Other disciples in the United States include Wei Wenjie, his son Wong Tat Wah in Thailand, Li Jianqing in Macau, Hong Kong disciples Siu Wai Ming, Lai Kan, and his grandson Wong Yufan, etc. All of them are in influential international martial arts organizations. All of them have won gold and silver in influential international martial arts competitions.
Master Huang Jiang has returned to his hometown frequently in recent years to teach his disciples, in his words, "Master Chen Changmao passed on the martial arts to me, who took them overseas, and now he is bringing them back to Jiangmen." In 2005 by the relevant departments of the municipal government of Jiangmen City approved the creation of the "Jiangmen Cai Li Buddha Wushu Association", and served as permanent supervisor, and that year by his point of view of Jiangmen Cai Li Buddha Wushu team, to participate in the Guangdong Province, the traditional wushu competitions in one fell swoop to win 15 gold medals, to participate in the competitions of his disciples Rujiang Lin, Ru Hai Lin, Huang Debiao, Xiao Jing, etc.
Chen Changmao has devoted his life to the cause of wushu education, and the seeds sown in those years have borne much fruit today. In his later years, Chen Changmao in Jiangmen City, Fushi Road, set up a medical center to help the world, the treatment of orthopedics, due to his excellent medical skills, the poor public medical treatment, y loved by the masses. 1953 summer, a generation of South Guangdong martial arts Chen Changmao died at the age of 91 years old.
