Introduction to Western Ghouls
Gargoyles (Gargoyles) are actually half-human, half-animal drip spouts on the roofs of medieval Gothic buildings, used to direct the flow of water from the roof to keep it clean. These monsters were hideous, with bat wings and tails, and had a demonic appearance, and were placed on doorways to ward off evil spirits. It is rumored that necromancers would pour life into these statues to make them act, and that they had stone-hard skin, were invulnerable to knives and guns, and had a weakness for being afraid of light. Derived to the end, this clock monster has completely lost its initial practical and religious value, becoming a purely decorative object.
Banshee (Banshee) "Banshee" is known in Irish Gaelic as "Bean sindhe" (Bean-nighe washerwoman), meaning " A woman with supernatural powers", usually portrayed as an old woman with a collapsed nose, disheveled hair, and bags under her eyes, wearing a tattered white shawl, crying outside the door of a dying person, her eyes bloodshot from constant weeping. Banshees (i.e. witches) usually only patronize a few long-established families, each with their own witch.
The Lich, also known as the Lich, means "corpse" in Old English, and refers to evil mages who come back from the dead, or ascetics who are possessed by demons, and are often found alone in dungeons and dungeons. These mages used to study spells alone in the dungeons, and when they came back from the dead, they became corpses and inhabited the gloomy dungeons.
