An Cai Traditional Sports Characteristic Project
This special project focuses on the promotion and development of traditional Chinese folk games, sports events, martial arts, folk dances, folk songs and stories, the cultivation of students' sports literacy, the combination of students' sports and cultural education, and the deepening of students' ideological education, so that students can receive cultural education in a healthy psychological environment.
Characteristics of traditional sports:
1. Wushu:
It has a long history, dating back to the Shang and Zhou Dynasties. It has an extremely broad mass base and is a valuable cultural heritage accumulated and enriched by the working people in China in the long-term social practice. It is one of the outstanding cultural heritages of China people.
2. archery:
Traditional archery refers to the "shooting" of a gentleman's six arts, and The Book of Rites: "A shooter is benevolent. Shoot it yourself, shoot it right and then send it; Don't blame yourself for missing it, just ask yourself. Confucius said: A gentleman can defeat the enemy without fighting. 3. Wrestling:
One of the oldest sports in China. In ancient times, it was called wrestling, corner touch, sumo wrestling and so on. As early as 5,000 years ago, there were ancient wrestling activities in the era of the Yellow Emperor.
In the Jin Dynasty, wrestling was held on the Lantern Festival. In the Tang dynasty, competitions were held in spring and autumn, which was also considered as a palace entertainment project. During the Five Dynasties, wrestling techniques emphasized lightness and agility. Women's wrestling also appeared in the Song Dynasty. There is a wrestling organization among the people.
4. lion dance:
China lion dance originated from the Chinese nation with a long history and splendid culture, and is deeply loved and favored by the people of China. The forms of lion dance are rich and colorful, and all activities related to lions in China are mostly included in the category of lion dance.
Because there is a great internal relationship between lion dance and dragon dance in China, in order to facilitate the extensive development of lion dance and dragon dance, the International Dragon and Lion Association was established internationally, and the Dragon and Lion Sports Association was established by the State General Administration of Sport, aiming at coordinating the dragon and lion sports in China.
