What are the customs in Tengzhou?

The ancient pagoda, commonly known as Longquan Pagoda, was originally a Buddhist pagoda in Longquan Temple. Longquan Temple has a magnificent building scale. Looking from a distance, yellow walls and blue tiles, pines and pines. Looking back at the temple, I saw that the main hall was resplendent, the temples on both sides were neat, and the Buddha statues enshrined in the temple were lifelike. All kinds of inscriptions in the tablet room are dazzling and exquisite. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Wang wrote in "Records of tengxian": "In the past, the temple rules were magnificent ... this is the place to welcome spring. Now the abbots of the two corridors are very beautiful, although the restoration is not as far as before." By the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, most of the huge buildings of Longquan Temple collapsed and fell into disrepair, leaving only this tower.

Longquan Tower is a masonry structure, with an octagonal tower body and carved brick eaves, with a height of 43 meters and a diameter of 9.2 meters. There are Buddha holes at the bottom of the tower and four Buddha windows at the top of the tower, but all the Buddha statues have disappeared.

There is no textual research on the literature of Longquan Tower when it was first built. According to the observation of relevant experts, it belongs to the Northern Song Dynasty and has a history of thousands of years. There is an ancient monument embedded in the bottom of the tower. It is recorded on the tablet that it was rebuilt in the third year of Xuande in Ming Dynasty (AD 1428). Today, it has been more than 500 years. Longquan Tower has been eroded by wind and rain in past dynasties and destroyed by war. The tower gate collapsed and the overhanging arch fell off beyond recognition. In order to protect the ancient pagodas, the People's Government of tengxian decided on 1983 to allocate special funds for comprehensive restoration, which took more than 100 years to complete. Longquan Tower was announced by Zaozhuang Municipal People's Government as a "municipal key cultural relics protection unit".

Third, the natural landscape

Tengzhou's natural landscape has mountains and water, which is characterized by quiet mountains and clear waters.

According to the Records of tengxian County and Historic Sites in the 13th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty, even Qingshan Scenic Area records that Princess Ji is located in the east of Qingshan, that is, Jade Girl City, which is called "Imperial City" by local people. Therefore, the site is located 25 kilometers northeast of Dangshan township-about 8 kilometers northeast of the township. Along the rugged mountain road, over a mountain pass, and then up the mountain, you will reach the ruins of the palace. "Records of Mountains and Rivers in tengxian" records: "Ninety-nine Lotus Hills stand like clouds, and the main peak is Motianling" (603 meters high, there is a Jade Girl Pool in the south, where the daughter of the Queen of Ji lives, hence the name). Others said that Xu and his troops came here to take refuge. If so, this city may be the building of A Jin dynasty.

The ruins of this city are covered with huge stones, undulating among the mountains, which is quite spectacular. The measured site is 90 meters long from east to west and 40 meters long from north to south. There are a row of four stone drum-shaped columns in the site from north to south, with a square bottom and a side length of 54 cm. The top is round with a diameter of 38 cm. The spacing of stone drum columns is10m. The bricks in the ruins have different specifications such as 44× 23×12cm and 36× 22× 9cm. There are white ash binder and green glazed tile fragments on the brick. This shows that the building of the palace should be brick-wood structure. The indoor floor is paved with square bricks soaked in water and oil, which shows that it is extraordinary. The ruins of the palace is a large platform with a retaining wall (or wall base) left by huge stones behind, which is more than 4 meters high.

There is a stone coupon bridge across the valley mouth in the north of the temple site, which still exists today. The bridge is 40 meters long from north to south, with a deck width of 15 meters, a span of 7 meters, an abutment height of 3.5 meters and an arch height of 3.5 meters. The specifications of the carefully carved arch coupon stone are 80×55×30 cm. There are carved faucets on the arches on both sides of the upstream bridge opening. The faucet in the south was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution, and the Longkou in the north was smashed. The horn must be good. Even in the spring of a dry year, water still flows under the bridge in the valley.

Around the ruins of the palace, under the mountains and canyons, the trees are lush and the birds are singing, just like a fairyland on earth. The old book records: "The valley is full of peach blossoms, and every spring comes out of the stream, and peach blossoms are floating, just like Taoyuan Wonderland."

The forest is dominated by Platycladus orientalis and Robinia pseudoacacia, with occasional other tree species. In early spring, Robinia pseudoacacia spits green, fragrant flowers string together, overlooking like snow; Linxia, shaded by green trees, is breezy, and Lin Taosheng is known as "no face in the sun for three miles, no umbrella in rainy days for five miles". According to legend, Mozi and his disciples often went to this mountain to study and write articles in their early years. In the year of drought, the vegetation withered, and Mozi led his disciples to pick the mountain springs and water them. Since then, the barren hills have gradually turned green and the vegetation is lush. From a distance, the park looks like a dragon, a tiger and a phoenix, which is very realistic. Known as the beautiful legend of "Longshan, Hushan, Luofeng and Sanshan have spirits". Short-sighted, stone peaks in various shapes, overlapping peaks and peaks, different shapes. Springs are everywhere in the park, streams are vertical and horizontal, mountains and rivers are reflected, birds are singing and flowers are fragrant. The natural landscape is even more peculiar, including sunrise view, clouds, sea of clouds and seawalls. In the rainy season, white clouds will rise from the place where the clouds were born, and the fog will be misty, and the mountains and clouds will be integrated and the clouds will be connected.
