What festival is ぎぉんまつり in Japan?
This is an annual festival held in Kyoto, Japan. It is not only one of the "Three Sacrifices in Kyoto" (Sunflower Sacrifice, Gion Sacrifice and Times Sacrifice), but also one of the "Three Sacrifices in Japan" (Gion Sacrifice (Kyoto), Tenjin Matsuri Sacrifice (Osaka), Kanda Sacrifice (Edo), "Three Towering Mountains Sacrifice" and "Three Beauty Sacrifices". It is considered as one of the biggest and most famous festivals. The whole Garden Festival will last for one month, and a large-scale parade will be held on July 17. Each of the 29 districts in Kyoto will design a beautifully decorated sedan chair to participate in the parade.
