The Difference Between Tibetan Music and Mongolian Music

There are two types of music in China: Tibetan music and Mongolian music.
Russian music

Tibetan music
Tibetans are a people who can sing and dance well, and their songs have beautiful and vast melodies. Tibetan music can be broadly divided into Buddhist music and folk music. The most famous of the Buddhist music is the wordless chanting tunes sung by lamas.

For formal theater, the traditional Tibetan opera "King Gesar" has now been excavated and performed.
Manchu music
China's northeast and Beijing are home to the Manchu. The most famous Manchu folk instrument is the octagonal drum, which originated in the Qing Dynasty. Works such as the Manchu lullaby "Yoyoza" are famous and are often covered in modern Chinese.
Mongolian Music
Mongolian folk songs are divided into "long-toned folk songs" and "short-toned folk songs". The "long tune" has many meaningless harmonic words and long singing voice, with the style of the grassland. The most characteristic musical instrument is the horse head qin, is a stringed instrument, because the column is generally carved on a horse head decoration, so it is named.
