Which is the most famous symphony orchestra in Japan?

Nippon Broadcasting (NHK) Symphony Orchestra

Quite good.

The Nippon Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra is a Japanese music performance group. Founded on October 5, 1926, it was originally known as the New Symphony Orchestra, then as the Japan Symphony Orchestra, and in 1951 was renamed to its current name. The orchestra performs frequently, appearing on radio, television and in concert halls. The orchestra averages more than 140 performances a year, including 60 regular concerts with an audience of 300,000 people, playing a wide range of repertoire and a large number of listeners. The orchestra's strings are prominent and the ensemble is effective. In its performances, the orchestra played Chinese female composer Chen Yi's Song Market, Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor and Stravinsky's ballet music Petrushka under the baton of world-renowned conductor Charles Ditwa.
