Basic Knowledge of Ancient Poetry Metre

First, the basic knowledge of metrical poetry

1, the five elements:

"five definitions" - the poem has a fixed sentence, the sentence has a fixed word, the word has a fixed sound, the rhyme has a positioning, the law has a fixed pair.

2. Ping and oblique:

Ping and oblique are the tones of the words used in Chinese poetry. Ping refers to flat and straight, and oblique refers to zigzag.

In Mandarin, yinping and yangping are the flat tones; and 上声 and 去声 are the oblique tones. --Chinese New Rhyme

In Middle Chinese, there are four tones, called Ping, Shang, Dei, and 入. The other three tones, except for the flat tone, have variations in height, so they are collectively called the oblique tones. --Ping Shui Yun 词林正韵

规律:在同句中是相间的,在对句中是相对的。

3. Rhyme:

Rhyme, also known as pressure rhyme, refers to the creation of rhymed text, in some of the last word of the sentence, are used in the same rhyme or similar words, so that when recited or sung, resulting in a sense of resonance and harmony. These places where the same rhyming word is used are called rhyming feet.

The importance of rhyme: rhyme is the foundation of metrical poetry, and can never be allowed to be wrong. If the rhyme is wrong, the poem will not stand.

Law:

① In metered verse (orthography), in addition to the first line, all odd-numbered lines do not rhyme, and even-numbered lines only rhyme.

② In the same poem, can not string rhyme, only the same rhyme; at the same time, the new rhyme, ancient rhyme can not be mutual.

4, "one, three, five, no matter what, two, four, six, clear". That is to say, in the same sentence, the first, third and fifth words can be flat or flat, and the second, fourth and sixth words must follow the level and flatness of the poem, and cannot be changed at will.

5, the four major taboos of the poem: a taboo "lose sticky" (the so-called "sticky" refers to the second line of the first line of the first line of the first line of the upper line and the lower line of the two, four, six words of the level and oblique to be the same) "lose the right" (the so-called "sticky" refers to the second line of the first line of the upper line and the lower line of the two, four, six words of the level and oblique to be the same) "lost "(the so-called "right" means that in the same line, the level and oblique of the first and the second lines are relative), and the second taboo is "lonely flat" (the so-called "lonely flat" means that in the same line, the flat characters are all in the same tone). (the so-called "lonely flat" means that in the same sentence, the flat characters are separated by the oblique characters, and none of them are connected), "awkward sentence" (the so-called "awkward sentence" is the sentence style that does not conform to the two flat and two oblique characters), and "three flat (oblique) feet" (i.e., the end of the sentence is not in line with the two flat and two oblique characters). "

The second thing to avoid is the use of the dialect.

Second, the "poetic score" of metrical poetry

1, the symbols of the poetic score and their significance: the symbols of different books are not the same. It is necessary to read the description of the symbols first. In the poetic notation of this manuscript, "Ping" means flat; "Oblique" means oblique; "Flat" means flat rhymes; and red color means flat or oblique - "Ping" means flat or oblique. The red color indicates that it can be flat or oblique - "flat" means flat or oblique, and "oblique" means oblique or flat.

2. Four Formats of Poetry Score

The four formats in this manuscript are the basic format, which is the most authoritative and reliable, because it takes into account all the elements and taboos of metrical poetry. As long as the poem is composed strictly according to the score, it will not be out of order.

The seven-line poetic score is in the correct form

1, the first line of the oblique collection does not rhyme:

The oblique level is flat, and the level is flat.

The first line, the first line of the first

Suddenly, there was a rumor that the sword had been collected in the northern part of the Thistle, and the first time I heard of it, my clothes were full of tears and snot.
