1. The fields of research are different. 3. Different information transfer. The information transfer of traditional supply chain is very common, almost everywhere and all the time. Green supply chain management also increases the transmission of environmental impact information and resource protection information, and organically combines the information flow, logistics and energy flow of supply chain management, and systematically integrates and optimizes them.

4. The process of management is different. Green supply chain management goes through the whole closed-cycle process of design, procurement, manufacturing, packaging, sales, use and recycling, which covers every process of the product life cycle. However, traditional supply chain management is only a one-way process from suppliers to consumers, and the process can be imaginatively called "from cradle to grave".

5. The pursuit of different goals. Green supply chain management contains the traditional supply chain management contains T (time), Q (quality), c (cost), s (service) four goals, but also contains E (environment) and R (resources) two goals.
