Ceramic brake pads are the best, mostly used in high-performance sports cars.

1: Brake pads are mainly divided into the following categories: asbestos brake pads (basically eliminated), semi-metal brake pads, less metal brake pads, NAO formula brake pads, ceramic brake pads and NAO ceramic brake pads.

2. The biggest difference between ceramic brake pads and traditional brake pads is that there is no metal. The metal in the traditional brake pad is the main friction material, which has great braking force, but great wear and noise. After installing ceramic brake pads, there will be no abnormal noise (that is, scraping sound) during normal driving. Because the ceramic brake pad contains no metal components, the metal noise caused by the friction between the traditional metal brake pad and the double parts (i.e. the brake pad and the brake disc) is avoided.

3. Stable friction coefficient. Friction coefficient is the most important performance index of any friction material, which is related to the braking ability of brake pads. In the process of braking, due to the heat generated by friction and the increase of working temperature, the friction material of general brake pads is affected by temperature, and the friction coefficient begins to decrease. In practical application, the friction will be reduced, thus reducing the braking effect. The friction material of ordinary brake pads is immature and the friction coefficient is too high, which causes unsafe factors such as out-of-control direction, burning and scratching the brake disc when braking. Even if the temperature of the brake disc reaches 650 degrees, the friction coefficient of the ceramic brake pad is still around 0.45-0.55, which can ensure that the vehicle has good braking performance.

4. Ceramics have good thermal stability, low thermal conductivity and good wear resistance. The long-term service temperature is 1000℃, which makes the ceramic suitable for the high performance requirements of various high-performance braking materials and can meet the technical requirements of high speed, safety and high wear resistance of brake pads.

Ordinary brake pads have low thermal regeneration, high temperature and rising brake oil make braking delay or even lose braking effect, and the safety factor is low.
