What's the difference between an ordinary electronic press and a servo press?

Electronic press, also known as servo press, servo punch and electronic punch, is driven by servo motor and carries out precise press-fitting operation. Servo press usually refers to the press driven and controlled by servo motor. Including servo presses for metal forging and special servo presses for refractory industry. Because of the numerical control characteristics of servo motor, it is sometimes widely called numerical control press.

Servo press drives eccentric gear through servo motor to realize the movement process of slider. The servo press can program the stroke, speed and pressure of the slider at will through complicated power-on control, and even reach the rated tonnage of the press at low speed.

The working principle of the hydraulic press is that the oil pump firstly delivers the hydraulic oil to the integrated cartridge valve block, and then distributes the hydraulic oil to the upper cavity or the lower cavity cylinder through various overflow valves and check valves. At this time, the oil cylinder will move under the action of high pressure oil.

1, dedicated and meticulous servo press is energy-saving and environmentally friendly.

Servo press is a servo motor. When the machine is in standby mode, the motor does not rotate. In addition, in the process of compacting the device, the speed and power also changed. In an ordinary printing machine, the motor is always rolling when it is in standby, which requires corresponding power. In operation, it also rolls at a stable speed, and the power consumption will be reduced. Compared with servo motors, noise is also the same.

For a precision servo press, its technological process is generally divided into three stages: rapid descent, working, pressurization, pressure holding, unloading and returning. The working pressure and flow required for each stage are different. For the motor of special precision servo press, the whole machining process is in a constantly changing load state. At present, most hydraulic presses use the concept of three-phase asynchronous motor to drive constant power variable pump for power supply. Although the effect of reducing the delivery flow exceeding the set pressure value can be achieved, the motor is always in a normal operation mode during the whole operation process, and it is essentially unnecessary for the motor to drive the oil pump to run in a fast-drop, pressure-maintaining and discharge-stopping mode. For example, in this shape, the motor is still running. On the one hand, the electric key constitutes the consumption of resources, on the other hand, it also constitutes the circulation overflow of oil, which leads to the rise of oil temperature and the generation of a lot of heat, which also constitutes the consumption of resources.

2. Driving method of servo press

Servo press is driven by servo motor, which is used to pressurize ball screw. The pressure is directly transmitted by the torque of the servo motor. The common press is driven by the motor oil pump, changes the target through the directional valve, and then controls the pressure through the hydraulic cylinder. The pressure passes through the oil pipe and the valve body, and there is corresponding loss.
