Baizixi Thousand Buddha Cave 1
Although Baizixi Thousand-Buddha Cave is not as old as Qizil Thousand-Buddha Cave and the number of grottoes is relatively small, Baizixi Thousand-Buddha Cave has preserved a few Uighur-style grottoes murals in China. If we go to Baizixi now, seven caves will be opened in the scenic spot for everyone to visit. Turpan's environment is desolate everywhere, in sharp contrast to the incomplete murals in the caves.

Gaochang people have never seen this country, but they are familiar with the name. When Tang Xuanzang went to the Western Seas, King Gao Changguo lived in Wen Tai and treated him as a distinguished guest, which shows that Buddhism in the Tang Dynasty was very prosperous in this country. The area around the ruins of the ancient city of Gao Changguo is very desolate, with heavy wind and sand during the day.
3. Jiaohe Ancient Town
Jiaohe old city lives in a willow-shaped city surrounded by two rivers. Before the earliest, ancient literati lived here. The river here is a natural defense line, which can prevent the invasion of wild animals and avoid the struggle between tribes. Jiaohe old city was destroyed by religion. Today, thanks to the arid climate in Turpan, these buildings thousands of years ago have been completely preserved.
4. Ancient dwellings under the sea
The ancient dwellings under the sea are a small scenic spot and a good place to visit and learn about the local ethnic minorities in Turpan. From here, we can see the housing and living conditions of Turpan people hundreds of years ago, and we can also see many stories and the gap between the rich and the poor at that time from the details. The most authoritative person in the ancient residential village under the sea is called Lord Bayi in Xinjiang.
Brief introduction of grape ditch
Grape Valley is a rare green place in Turpan. At present, grape planting has formed a park with a particularly large planting area. There are not only threshing ground, but also wineries. The drying room here is also a local feature of Turpan. Whether you drive by or in the park, you can see a piece of low brick house with hollow cross bricks on all sides, built in a place with good air circulation.
It is specially used to dry raisins. Grapes are hung on the upper layer, and the lower layer can also be used for living or putting things. In this way, naturally dried raisins not only retain the original sugar of grapes, but also are as green as new, without any pollution. When Xinjiang people buy raisins, they can taste them directly by blowing the floating ash on them at most.
