Basic characteristics of green products

Having the green environmental protection mark is a notarial appraisal of the environmental protection performance of the product and an overall evaluation of the environmental quality of the product. In promoting the international standardization of environmental labels, ISO defines them as legal environmental quality or certified words and/or symbols printed or pasted on you or your packaging. Environmental signs are also called "environmental signs" and "green signs". For enterprises, green label can be described as the green identity card of products, and it is the main guarantee for enterprises to gain government support, gain consumer trust and carry out green marketing smoothly. The green signs obtained by enterprises show that the production, use and treatment of products meet the requirements of environmental protection, do not endanger human health, and their garbage is harmless or minimal, which is conducive to resource regeneration and recycling. In other words, in order to distinguish green products from traditional products, many countries put green signs on green products. Marks are different from ordinary trademarks, but are used to indicate the product types that meet the specific environmental protection requirements in the whole process of manufacturing, configuration, use and disposal. In short, the so-called green products refer to products that are more environmentally friendly than similar products at present in the marketing process. Green products, like traditional products, have the following three characteristics: ① core products successfully meet the main needs of consumers-useful to consumers; (2) the technical quality is qualified, and the products meet various technical quality standards; (3) The products are competitive in the market, which is beneficial for enterprises to achieve profit targets. However, compared with traditional products, green products have a more important basic standard, that is, meeting environmental protection requirements. We can evaluate the "green performance" of green products by considering the sustainable development of products and whether enterprises should bear due social responsibilities. It can be said that the fundamental difference between green products and traditional products lies in its function of improving the quality of environment and social life.
